PROAIM introduces A COMBO of VIEWFINDER with MOUNTING plate & FRAME so now doesn’t require you to use a sticky frame on your DSLR’s LCD screen. You Can mount your camera to a PROAIM VIEWFINDER BASE PLATE using the bottom 1/4-20 threaded slot and you mount your PROAIM VIEWFINDER to this VF Base plate. Can be used with DSLR's like the Canon 5D and 7D.
You can also mount your tripod plate underneath the PROAIM VIEWFINDER BASE PLATE so you can quickly go from handheld to tripod use after mounting the Base plate to the tripod, it has (2) ¼ 20” screw holes and a locking pin hole.The PROAIM VIEWFINDER frame attaches to the BASE plate using two thumb screws. The frame can be removed by loosening the thumb screws & pulling up on the frame.
Proaim ViewFinder Eyepiece : An eyecup is provided for preventing irrelevant light leakage, and a field of view perfectly matched to 3” LCD screens. The diopter allows you to dial in the focus to match your eye. The PROAIM Viewfinder has a diopter range is of -2.75 and up (unlimited with extender frames). The View-Finder can be attached to the LCD screen via a small frame with strong glue on one side. We provide two sizes of frame with this viewfinder so you can get desired distance from the LCD Screen. The lens of this view finder is Anti-Fog Coating.
Proaim BASE PLATE FOR VF : The Baseplate and Viewfinder mounting frame is to mount the camera on viewfinder properly. The VF Baseplate attaches to the bottom of your camera using a ¼ 20" screw and the mounting frame attaches to the VF Baseplate using thumb screws. This method allows you to quickly remove the VFinder by snapping it off the frame. If you want to remove the entire mounting frame from your camera, you can do so by loosening the thumb screws and pulling up on the metal mounting frame to release it. With the this VF base plate , you are also a step closer to using one of our Shouler Rig, as they we use the same baseplate as the base of DSL RIG 500.
